Hey, y’all! Can you believe it’s already fall? It’s the season all about crisp morning air, crunchy leaves, pumpkin spice lattes, and of course football. GO CATS! In today’s post I’m going to share a few of my favorite activities to do here in Lexington, KY during the fall. Even if you don’t live in Lexington, you should definitely research your city’s best coffee shops and pumpkin patches so you can get in the autumnal spirit too 🙂 Please enjoy this post and don’t forget to share with friends & family!
Daily Offerings Coffee Roastery
A hot drink is a necessity during these cooler months and Daily Offerings Coffee Roastery is the perfect spot to get away from college campus and watch the hustle and bustle of downtown Lexington. The Roastery’s giant windows and natural lighting make it a great spot for creative thinking. I recommend the Fall Spice Latte, that’s pictured above 🙂
Keeneland’s races are one of my favorite things to do during October. Who doesn’t love getting dressed up, being social, and betting on horses? I may be a tad bias, but Kentucky has the most beautiful race tracks in the world. I love getting friends together and enjoying the Kentucky atmosphere.
Pumpkins Galore! There is something spectacular about a day at the pumpkin patch! My best friend and I are like two kids in a candy store when it comes to finding the perfect pumpkin. Boyd’s Orchard is the perfect place to enjoy all that autumn has to offer. First off, they have hundreds of pumpkins that are already picked, or you can take a short walk through the patch and pick your very own. Once you’re done picking pumpkins, you can take a good ole fashion hayride to the corn maze and the apple orchards! Not to mention, Boyd’s has some of the best apple donuts and apple cider that I’ve ever tasted. If you don’t go to a pumpkin patch and take pictures, did it even happen? 😉
No matter what you’re doing this season, I just hope y’all enjoy every moment of it. What’s your favorite thing to do during the fall? Please comment and let me know!
